Halloween Happenings

Teigen's first Halloween. Of course he peed on his Pumpkin outfit within an hour of being in it, so the bear coat is festive enough!
As if trick-or-treating wasn't fun enough....try trick-or-treating with your cousins. All of my family except my oldest brother met in Boise for the holliday weekend. It was so much fun for the kids and for us. Hallie and her older cousin Brittanie were the die hards staying out later than most of the kids in the neighborhood. We drove home Sunday afternoon and the kids slept for about 3 hours. When Hallie woke up I looked back and she had tears in her eyes. When I asked her what was wrong, she looked at me and broke down, sobbing that she just wanted to go back to Nathan's house. It was so cute...until it lasted the last 2 hours of the trip. Needless to say, I think it was one of the best weekend's of her life.
Innocent little ladybug!!

Brynn loved her leopard costume and had the cutest little roooaaarrr to go with it.

Grandma Rasmussen also took us to Boo at the Zoo the weekend before Halloween. There was a million people there and a million and one strollers, but our clan made a million and two so we blended right in and had a great time.

Happy Birthday Teigen!

Oh the JoY of a BoY!

Teigen Monte Evarts came in weighing 6 lbs 15 oz and 19 inches long. He was born on Saturday the 18th at 3:19 in the afternoon.

Of course Dad couldn't be more excited. Not only do the two of them look exactly alike, but Adam's already picked out Teigen's lucky number. He's our 3rd child, born in 3 hours, at 3:00, and Adam's hockey number was 3. Do you think we'll start skating lessons at 3??? The girls all got a good laugh in though when Teigen taught him the true joy of boys. Adam was changing his diaper when all of a sudden pee came and landed all over Adam's pants. A common enough occurance, but not for a man that's only changed girls' diapers. He was so disgusted that he immediately went in the bathroom and washed his pants in the sink and took a long shower. He then found it a good excuse to go home and get clean pants!

The girls are pretty excited he is here as well. There's nothing like having 3 moms. Our days just got a whole lot more fun playing house and we are loving it. We are definitely appreciating the help that grandma is though and hope we can get by without her next week.

Summer to Snow Time

This is a miracle! Not only that it snowed, but that we have pictures of it and those pictures are actually being shared with others! Although it was 80 degrees last week, we woke up to snow on Sunday morning. Hallie was especially excited because she knows her birthday is not going to come until the snow did. So now we have the countdown to b-day! Adam was such a great dad, not only did he get them all dressed up to go outside to play, he got them to pick up all of their toys before doing so. And I got to take a nap in the process.
